    • California Wildfires

      San Diego County is ablaze as nine fires burn in a 14-square-mile area, fanned by hot, dry air and unusual springtime Santa Ana winds. Marine Corps aircraft and the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton fire department is in coordination with CALFIRE for the potential use of military aircraft pending the wildfire status within San Diego County.
