    • Hurricane Helene: Georgia National Guard Response

      The Georgia National Guard has mobilized to provide response and recovery support to areas in the state impacted by Hurricane Helene. At the direction of the Governor and through The Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS), the Georgia National Guard will continue to partner local, state, and federal entities in this effort.

    • Hurricane Helene: Tennessee National Guard Response

      The Tennessee National Guard has mobilized to provide response and recovery support to areas in the state impacted by Hurricane Helene. At the request of the Governor and through the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA), the Tennessee National Guard will continue to provide support in affected areas to help restore our communities for as long as it takes.

      Hurricane Irma formed in the Atlantic Ocean and affected the Caribbean Sea, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, before impacting the United States. U.S. military assets supported FEMA as well as state and local authorities in rescue and relief efforts.
