From July 18-26, U.S. Army Training & Doctrine Command hosts the Department of Defense Warrior Games bringing together hundreds of wounded, ill, and injured active duty and veteran military members to compete in adaptive sports as part of their recovery journeys.
South Carolina hosts the 2025 Region Three Best Warrior Competition, where NCOs and Soldiers from different states battle for the top spot. The states competing are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
