Task Force 61/2 Naval Amphibious Forces Europe/2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade is established to command and control Fleet Marine Forces and assigned Naval Forces in support of the commander of U.S. Sixth Fleet. TF 61/2 will synchronize Navy and Marine Corps units and capabilities already in theater, in support of regional Allies and Partners, and U.S. national security interests.
