The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Tropic Lightning Week 2019 is a week-long event comprised of nine competitive events taking place between battalions throughout the 25th Infantry Division. In addition to a sports competition, the division will do a division run, brick-laying ceremony, music on the lawn hosted at general’s loop and host a division review.
Tropic Lightning Week 2020 is a week-long occurrence comprised of ten competitive events taking place between battalions throughout the 25th Infantry Division. In addition to a sports competition, the Division will host a State of the Division, Patching Ceremony, Brick Dedication Ceremony, ACFT Competition, Light Fighter Cook-Off, Tropic Lightning Got Talent and Guadalcanal Cup presentation.
