The Meet Your Army initiative sends Army leaders (active duty, reserve and National Guard) into American communities in order to give our citizens, local leaders and the news media an opportunity to interact with them and learn more about who defends our nation.
The goals for Meet Your Army are to educate, excite, and inspire the American public about their Army. Meet Your Army engagements lay a foundation to build and strengthen relationships with Americans, leading to greater understanding and public support for the Army and the Soldiers who serve.
On Sunday, September 22, the U.S. Military Academy's Black Knights football team will play the University of Oklahoma Sooners in Norman, Oklahoma. Prior to the game, there will be several pregame activities, military vehicle static displays and Soldiers on hand to discuss carrier possibilities in the Active Army, Reserves and National Guard. show less
