Marine Officers are entrusted with leading Marines and making the tough decisions required to win our Nation’s battles. The Marine Corps is looking for tough, intelligent, disciplined men and women who think critically, are complex problem-solvers, communicate precisely and articulately, and thrive in ambiguity. Marine Corps Officer Candidates School vigorously screens and evaluates officer candidates primarily on their leadership as well as academics and physical fitness. Furbush is scheduled to graduate from OCS on November 16, 2019 where he will subsequently commission as an officer in the Marine Corps. show less
