Rapid Trident is a U.S. Army Europe and Africa exercise taking place in Moldova this year, from Sep. 10-22, 2023. The exercise is designed to enhance our partnership with Moldova by increasing interoperability and readiness through peacekeeping and stability operations training. Exercise Fire Shield is a sub-live-fire exercise within the construct of the Rapid Trident exercise conducted through the U.S. National Guard State Partnership Program between the North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) and the Republic of Moldova.
