Exercise STEPPE EAGLE 12 is a Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS)–sponsored, multi-echelon (brigade, battalion, and company), USCENTCOM-directed, ARCENT-led multinational exercise focusing on Peacekeeping and Peace Support Operations. STEPPE EAGLE 12 consists of a Command Post Exercise,Situational Training Exercise and Field Training Exercise. This is the 8th time this exercise has been held.The last time Exercise STEPPE EAGLE was held was during 8-20 August 2011.<br />

Exercise STEPPE EAGLE 12 is supported by members of ARCENT, the Arizona National Guard, the 10th Mountain Division, along with members from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Lithuania and Kyrgyzstan.
