This identity design was created for the 460th Space Wing at Buckley Air Force Base, Colo., Aug. 13, 2019. The graphic’s purpose is for the base to use across social media platforms and unit morale functions. Buckley AFB’s unit mascot is the Panther for which the design is centered around. The blue and yellow colors were chosen because they are the wing’s official Air Force shield colors. Claw marks were used to represent the tenacious posture of the wing’s deployed and in garrison space operators. The star on the left of the panther’s face is a cohesive symbol used across all units in U.S. Space Command representing the space domain. (U.S. Air Force graphic by Staff Sgt. Dennis Hoffman)
