This identity design graphic was created for the 821st Air Base Group at Thule Air Base, Greenland, Nov 24, 2019. The graphic’s purpose was for the base to use across social media platforms and unit morale functions. Thule AB’s unofficial mascot is the arctic fox, commonly known as an “Archie”, for which the design is centered around. The cool blue and purple colors were chosen because they represent the sub-zero temperatures Thule AB is known to deal with. Below the banner is the country outline of Greenland because of the location of the air base. The two stars surrounding Greenland is a cohesive symbol used across all units in U.S. Space Command representing the space domain and allied partnership. (U.S. Air Force graphic by Staff Sgt. Dennis Hoffman)
