This identity design graphic was created for the 50th Space Wing at Schriever Air Force Base, Colo., Dec. 24, 2019. The graphic’s purpose was for the wing commander’s new “Project, Protect and Connect” mission, vision and priorities education campaign. The mascot for the 50SW is the Opinicus, commonly confused for a Griffin, for which the design is centered around. Elements of the base’s motto, “Master of Space”, were used at the bottom of the graphic. This graphic is not a photograph, but rather a graphic representation of an end-product design embossed with gold foil on paper created in Adobe Photoshop. (U.S. Air Force graphic by Staff Sgt.
