Spc. Janet Fonseca and Pfc. Cesar Galvan, motor transport operators with the 1168th Transportation Company, Iowa Army National Guard, smile in front of the vehicles they’re each using to transport medical supplies across the state. Fonseca and Galvan, of Marshalltown, Iowa, are married and are both serving on state active duty to deliver medical personal protective equipment to help combat the spread of COVID-19. The Soldiers joined the Iowa Army National Guard a couple of months apart in 2018 and say they are proud to be able to support their local communities together.
