Photo illustration of a Korean War Marine created in Adobe Photoshop to depict the way a Korean War combat Marine would look in a photo from the 1950's. The Marine model was photographed in a studio and was equipped with a weapon while wearing a full Korean War replica uniform; then, through in Photoshop, lighting, color, and texture effects were applied to give the image an aged appearance. The model was also digitally placed in a snowy scene reminiscent of the operating environment Marines faced during the Korean War. Three different images of snow and mountains were used to create the full effect of the scene. The image was developed as part of the Centennial anniversary of the Marine Corps Reserve.
