“’Tomo Ni’ is a Japanese phrase for togetherness. The idea represents how Marines have always done business. Whatever we do, we do it together. Tomo ni describes our relationships with each other, our families, our communities and our partners. We stand together in defense of shared values, peace, and a free and open Indo-Pacific. The Commanding General, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Lt. Gen. H. Stacy Clardy, is seeking ideas for a logo to represent the Tomo Ni concept. From Mar. 23 to Apr. 20, all Okinawa based service members, dependents, contractors, and locals are invited to submit their own logo designs. The winning concept will be displayed at the entrance of Marine Corps installations on Okinawa. III MEF will announce the winner, and they will be recognized during a ceremony held by III MEF.
