The timeline was created using Adobe Photoshop, showing the origins of the 107th Attack Wing as an Army Air Force's unit that fought in World War II as the 339th Fighter Group, to it's transition to a unit of the newly formed New York Air National Guard. It was created for the 70th anniversary of the wing being known as the 107th which occurs in 2018. Important milestones are featured to show key moments in combat operations, domestic operations and other items of historical significance. It shows visitors of the 107th ATKW headquarters where the wing came from, with photos going back to WWII to give them a visual connection to the wing's storied past.
