This graphic reflects on the past by remembering medal of honor recipients... During the Battle of Okinawa - Dug in with another Marine Private First Class Foster and his comrade engaged in a fierce hand grenade duel with infiltrating soldiers. A grenade landed beyond reach in the foxhole. Instantly diving on the deadly frag, Pfc. Foster absorbed the exploding charge in his own body protecting the other Marine from serious injury. Although mortally wounded, he quickly rallied, handed his own remaining two grenades to his comrade and said, "Make them count."
