The mission of the 200th Military Police Command is to provide trained and ready MP Soldiers, leaders and units-of-action to the Total Force, in order to enable protection and promote the rule of law to win the nation's wars. U.S. Army Reserve MPs can deploy anywhere combatant commanders need them. They account for 50 percent of the internment and detention personnel in the Army. They are also considered the "Force of Choice" because of their combat support capability, able to provide base security, quick-reaction teams, firepower and combat-ready Soldiers to fight alongside infantry units.
