210716-N-MD461-2001 SAN DIEGO (July 16, 2021) An infographic created to instruct and inform the crew of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) how to properly sort waste aboard the ship while underway. The design uses visual examples of common types of trash aboard a naval vessel and the categories into which they get sorted, then explains what happens to the trash after it has been sorted.
