The I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group battalions are 1st Intelligence Battalion, 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, 1st Radio Battalion, 9th Communications Battalion, and I Marine Expeditionary Force Support Battalion. This graphic was designed to show unison between the different battalions. I MIG coordinates, integrates and employs capabilities for information environment operations in order to ensure the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Commander’s ability to facilitate friendly forces maneuver and deny the enemy freedom of action in the information environment.
