The 2022 Earth Month theme is "Invest in our Planet." Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune invests in the planet by partnering with Duke Energy to bolster utility infrastructure, reduce energy use and lower operations and maintenance costs. Once complete, the project will enhance Camp Lejeune's energy resilience and is projected to save nearly $6 million annually.
