U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Melvin Jacobs, a Communications Officer stationed at
MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, created the Adversity Recovery and Mentorship program to help
Marines who have experienced adversity move forward and excel. The graphic
depicts a Marine lending a helping hand, the Eagle Globe and Anchor, text
with information about the program and a QR code and email address for those
interested to receive more information. This graphic was designed Apr. 18,
2022 at MCAS Iwakuni Station CommStrat, MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, and is intended
for use throughout MCAS Iwakuni to inform service members about the program.
