Meet your Defender, U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Randy Pelep, an M1 Armor Crewman with 4th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. Pelep is originally from Pohnpei, Micronesia. He joined the Army because of his passion for being a crewman. “I enjoy the raw power of the M1 Abrams!” Pelep jokes. His favorite part about his job is working with his crew and building camaraderie. When he is not working, Pelep enjoys the outdoors and going on hikes.
