Alex and Leo Riffle of Kingwood, W.Va. take in the beautiful scenery while waiting to fish while attending the Gold Star Families Retreat at Camp Dawson, W.Va. September 23-25, 2022 as they celebrate the life and sacrifice of their brother, Marine Corps Pfc. Zach Riffle.
Pfc. Riffle was killed earlier this year in a training accident outside of Camp Lejeune, SC, and his family chose to attend their first Gold Star Families’ Retreat as a way to remember and honor his memory and sacrifice to the nation.
