Poster design made from the official Marine Corps Reserve Centennial painting, commissioned by former Marine Corps artist and Reserve Marine, Kris Battles. The painting hangs at Marine Forces Reserve headquarters in New Orleans, La., and showcases Reserve Marines in various uniforms throughout the Reserve's 100-year history. The painting symbolizes the Reserve's legacy and the passing of the flag, so to speak, from generation to generation since the Reserve's beginning in 1916 though present time, 2016. The poster design displays elements of the Centennial's signature branding.
