Meet Chaplain (Cpt.) Changsop Kum, a battalion chaplain, assigned to the 215th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division. "I joined the U.S. Army to pay back what my family received 70 years ago during the Korean War. My family is from Korea. As I was growing up, my grandparents told me how they survived the war with the help of the U.S. military's support. My grandparents always reminded me that we have a better life today because someone sacrificed 70 years ago. As I sacrifice today, I hope the people after me can have a better life tomorrow."
