This poster was created to honor Juneteenth, which is a federally observed holiday marking the day the last slaves were informed of their freedom. It was made using raster-based techniques in Adobe Photoshop. The poster was displayed at NATO Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk, Virginia during the observation of Juneteenth from 13 June to 17 June 2022. Allied Command Transformation is NATO’s warfare development command located in North America, dedicated to preserving the peace, security, and territorial integrity of Alliance member states by leading the warfare development of military structures, forces, capabilities and doctrines.
