220811-N-TY704-1001 SAN DIEGO (Aug. 11, 2022) A logo design for the Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions (CSADD) aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The purpose of the logo will give junior Sailors a fresh look at CSAAD and encourage them to attend events and join. The CSAAD title is curved to match the banner placed above Vinson’s logo to show command support of junior Sailors’ growth through the committee and making non-destructive decisions. The text “RE-ADJUST YOUR WINGS” is placed above Vinson’s “Gold Eagle” to match the command symbolization in a cohesive and recognizable look. The colors blue and yellow were utilized for complimentary color harmony and to emulate the official U.S. Navy color palette that is familiar to Sailors.
