An infographic created using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator in honor of Black History Month. Chief Steward Andy Mills was one of the first black chief petty officers in the Navy and was a participant in the battles of Coral Sea and Midway. For these accomplishments, a 900-bed barracks was named after him onboard Naval Air Station North Island. (U.S. Navy graphic by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Matthew Fink)
