Renowned Reservist Lance Cpl. Daniel Loeza

Layout and Design created to highlight Reserve Marines that have been selected as a Renowned Reservist, Feb.10, 2023, at Marine Corps Support Facility, New Orleans. Lance Cpl. Daniel Loeza, a ground radio technician with Charlie Company, 4th Amphibious Assault Vehicle Battalion, 4th Marine Division is also full-time student at Texas A&M University. Loeza is a junior studying electrical engineering. Loeza was nominated by his command as a Renowned Reservist, a new initiative, highlighting him as a high performer within his unit. Loeza is a native of Clute, Texas.

“I joined the Marines because I wanted to be a part of something larger than myself, I saw an opportunity to grow as a person,” said Loeza.
Being a part of the Select Marine Corps Reserve gives Loeza and other Marines the opportunity to be a part of the Marine Corps community while maintaining careers and studies in their off time. “My experiences in the Marine Corps have given me the foundations to succeed as a full-time student,” said Loeza “Compared to those who haven’t served, I find myself more disciplined in regard to time management and doing my assignments with care.”

Stay tuned to see the Renowned Reservists training as a part Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) 25 in the upcoming Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) this summer. ITX is a live-fire and maneuver combined arms exercise designed to train battalion and squadron-sized units in tactics, techniques, and procedures. The exercise also acts as a mass mobilization rehearsal for the Reserve units and enhances the total Reserve force readiness to rapidly deploy when called. This provides a sustainable and ready operational Reserve force for employment across the full spectrum of crisis and global engagement. (United States Marine Corps Layout and Design by Lance Cpl.
