The Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Honorary Commanders Program pairs base leadership with community leaders from the local area, and familiarize them with its mission at JB MDL. Civilian participants will be selected from among non-federal elected or appointed officials, mayors, chamber of commerce-type group members, principals of local schools, Military Affairs Committee members, business leaders and others who, because of their position or influence in the community, can positively impact public support for the joint base. Honorary Commanders serve one-year terms. This program of proceedings was created for the JB MDL Honorary Commander induction ceremony on March 31, 2023. Printed and distributed at the ceremony.
