DLA Disposition Services is entrusted with the critical task of managing hazardous waste as part of its comprehensive disposal services. Through a competitive “best value” concept, contracts are awarded to ensure efficient and responsible disposal of hazardous materials. With oversight provided by over 150 Contracting Officer Representatives, supports over 1,100 military installations. Methods for disposal include recycling, incineration or landfilling while adhering to strict environmental regulations and standards.
