Ever wondered about the significance of wetlands, those diverse, water-saturated areas often found near bodies of water? They are indispensable in maintaining ecological balance and supporting various aspects of our daily lives. This infographic explores the top five benefits of wetlands. The infographic was produced using Blender, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint, and distributed in both print and digital versions. It was part of a joint-agency public outreach campaign between the U.S. Army Corps Engineers Flood Risk Management Program, Silver Jackets, and City of Logan, Utah, to increase public awareness of regional flood risk, the value of floodplain management and alternative approaches to reducing risk for communities while preserving the natural environment.
