This animation was created in Adobe After Effects for 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, I Marine Expeditionary Force, to inform audiences about the hub, spoke, and node concept at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, Dec. 13, 2023. As the aviation combat element of I MEF, 3rd MAW executes Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations through the hub, spoke, and node concept, with varying levels of capability, survivability and sustainability based on mission requirements and geographic considerations.
