PEARL HARBOR (Sept. 28, 2023) A concept logo created for Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2024. The logo was created solely using vector software. Held every two years since 1971, RIMPAC brings an international collection of maritime, land, and air units to the Hawaiian islands to conduct joint exercises that address assorted scenarios such as disaster relief, maritime security operations, sea control, and complex warfighting. The logo comprises significant symbols and imagery specific to the sea and navies, featuring diverse platforms and Poseidon holding a trident flanked by waves in the shape of fists. With the 29th iteration of RIMPAC taking place exclusively near Hawaii instead of most of the Pacific Ocean, the logo features the islands themselves, the state flower, a map of the world where Hawaii is in the center, the Arizona Memorial, and a Hawaiian-inspired large outer ring.
