230910-N-BN445-0001 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sep. 10, 2023) The newly crafted logo for Navy Public Affairs Support Element (NPASE) Japan serves the purpose of establishing a strong presence in the 7th Fleet area of operations across various platforms and missions. The design incorporates intersecting red bands, symbolizing both the rising sun and the stripes of the United States ensign. Mt. Fuji alongside an anchor, adorned with three stars, represent the weight and scale of the U.S. Navy in the region. The Hiragana characters convey the popular saying "anytime, anywhere" underscoring the versatility of our NPASE Japan Sailors.
