This identity design was created for the National Security Agency’s Menwith Hill site. This design uses elements from the previous logo and presents them in a way that represents the ongoing efforts to evolve the mission, site, and workforce in a multi-country and multi-agency environment. This concept features a griffen standing on top of a shield with simplified depictions of the UK and US flags. The griffen is depicted with the body, tail, and back legs of a lion; and the head, wings, and front talons of an eagle. In heraldry a griffen stands as a symbol for courage, leadership, and strength. The purple and golden yellow colors lend a sense of regality to the design underscoring the UK location. This design was created using Adobe Illustrator.
