Mother’s Day was founded by Anna Jarvis after the passing of her mother in 1905 as a way to celebrate all of the sacrifices mother’s make for their children. JBLE wishes all the mothers across the nation a happy Mother’s Day. The graphic was made at JBLE, Virginia, May 11, 2023 with a silhouette of a mother and child representing mothers across all services by the water that surrounds the base with three F-22 Raptors flying in the background in part thanks to the dedication of mothers who continuously sacrifice and work to ensure JBLE’s air dominance.
