MEDREX is a medical readiness exercise program, planned and
executed by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), which allows U.S. military medical health professionals the opportunity to work in Africa with African partner military health professionals. The 2024 MEDREX program will have eight training exercises that will partner U.S. Army, National Guard, and Reserve medical specialists with medical practitioners in Angola, Burundi, Chad, Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal, and South Africa to deliver care to local populations, exchange best practices, build and strengthen treatment capabilities and lasting partnerships.
