This U.S. Marine Corps publication was created using Adobe InDesign 2021 and Adobe Photoshop 2021 in order to summarize the succession of command ceremony at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 18, 2023. During the succession of command, Lt. Gen. George W. Smith Jr. relinquished command of I MEF to Lt. Gen. Bradford J. Gering. This publication was used to guide the succession of command participants through the ceremony to enhance the participants’ understanding and engagement.
