This historic banner of the "Atomic Ace" Col. Walter Boyne, (Ret.) was created for the Air Force Materiel Command as a display for a historical artifacts case at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The graphic depicts multiple photos of the "Atomic Ace" Col. Walter Boyne, (Ret.), a history of his accomplishments in aviation and writing. The background is an image of an nuclear explosion in the center, a photo of the aircraft and crew of the 4925th Nuclear Test Group at the top and photos of a B-52 Stratofortress and B-47 Stratojet at the bottom. The graphic was designed using Adobe Photoshop on March 22, 2024 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and intended for use by Air Force Materiel Command and United States Air Force.
