Sgt. Payton Peterson has been key to the success of the Task Force Spartan’s military justice mission. She has been a key contributor ensuring command teams, NCOs, and other U.S. Central Command legal offices understand the role of military justice in the deployed environment, and how to best operate to ensure proper guidelines, policies, and regulations are being followed.
On her own volition, Peterson developed training presentations for both legal professionals and other organizational leaders, and she has conducted several training sessions resulting in praise from both superior and subordinate commands, developing relationships between key partners. She has used her professional knowledge of Excel and other data software to help develop a key information reporting tool that is currently being used by the Task Force Spartan Commanding General and Staff to visualize trends and statistics relating to unit priorities. Peterson has been, and will continue to be, a force multiplier and asset to Task Force Spartan and the 34th Infantry Division Office of the Staff Judge Advocate.
