JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. – Parents’ Day was established by U.S. President Bill Clinton on July 28, 1994, for “recognizing, uplifting, and supporting the role of parents in the rearing of children.” Joint Base Langley-Eustis wishes all parents across the nation a happy Parents’ Day. The graphic was made at JBLE, Virginia, June 28, 2024, with a silhouette filled in with the U.S. flag of a family belonging to two service members with three F-22 Raptors, a CH-47 Chinook helicopter, an AH-64 Apache helicopter, and three T-38 Talons flying in the background representing all the aircraft stationed at the base in part thanks to the dedication of parents who continuously sacrifice and work to ensure JBLE’s air and land dominance.
