The Prime Travel Benefit (PTB) program reimburses TRICARE Prime beneficiaries for reasonable expenses incurred during a qualified trip for care. These expenses may include lodging, meals, transportation, tolls, parking fees, and trips between the specialty care provider’s office and the hotel, be sure to save receipts to file for reimbursement. To qualify for the benefit, the patient must be an active duty family member enrolled in TRICARE Prime or TRICARE Prime Remote, or a retiree/retiree family member enrolled in TRICARE Prime with a Primary Care Manager (PCM) in the continental United States.
