Meet Careasa Greer, a Workforce Development Specialist with U.S. Army Garrison Fort George G. Meade.
Greer started working at Fort Meade after relocated to Maryland with her Air Force husband. When she saw the Workforce Development Specialist job open, she knew it was a perfect fit. Working in Human Resources allows Greer to channel her passion and foster an environment where individuals can thrive both personally and professionally.
A typical day for Greer involves research, strategy and hands-on support. She spends a significant amount of time researching development opportunities for civilians and working on programs to ensure the civilian population have resources to succeed.
Greer's favorite part of her job is seeing the growth and success of those around her. Watching someone overcome a challenge or celebrate a success not only brings her joy but also reinforces her belief in the importance of mentorship and workplace support.
Outside of work, Greer likes to read, visit art galleries and travel. Every year, she takes trips with her family and friends to create lasting memories while exploring different cultures and experiences.
