This graphic was created to update and modernize the 20th Public Affairs Detachment’s (PAD) unit logo on Dec. 8, 2024, at Camp Humphreys, South Korea. The logo features the representation of three wolves as part of a pack, symbolizing teamwork and unit cohesion. It also incorporates a quill pen, lightning bolt, and broadsword embedded into the wolves fur, representing speed and the transmission of information, highlighting the tactical value and impact of information dissemination on military preparedness and combat readiness. Each wolf faces a different direction, symbolizing vigilance and coverage of various sectors, while the lead wolf, with its mouth partially open to reveal its fangs, signifies constant readiness. The background transitions from a forest, representing the wolves natural habitat, to the unitts colors of green and gold, symbolizing growth and achievement. This reflects the unit’s continuous pursuit of improvement and mission accomplishment. (U.S. Army graphic by Staff Sgt. Neil McLean)
