The 2025 International Best Mortar Competition will take place at Fort Benning from April 7-11, 2025, bringing together teams from across the U.S. Army, National Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, and partner nations. Competitors will be tested on their tactical proficiency, physical endurance, and mental toughness to determine the top mortar team in the world.

The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army's Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United States European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility. Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance.
