In early fall 2017, the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG) Whistleblower Reprisal Investigations (WRI) Directorate began offering Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as an option for resolving complaints filed by employees of non-appropriated fund instrumentalities, as well as DoD contractors, subcontractors, and certain other qualified types of cases.
