181228-N-ZL062-0002 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 28, 2018) A new Navy Public Affairs Support Element (NPASE) Japan logo created for the command to establish presence in the 7th Fleet area of operations through t-shirts, stickers and patches. Design is shaped to be used for multiple platforms. Elements of Japan, like the rising sun, Mt. Fuji and the iconic water wave art, are seen to showcase NPASE's work here in Japan. The silhouettes of destroyers, cruiser and helicopter depict the common platforms the independently deployed Mass Communication Specialists can deploy on. The text was made simple with no flourishes to enhance the wording when sewn onto an uniform as a patch. (U.S. Navy graphic by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Sarah Myers)
