U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift with a two-day event from 10 to 11 June 2019. This design was created utilizing Adobe Photoshop at Training Support Center- Wiesbaden, Clay Kaserne, Germany on Mar. 22, 2019 to be the official entry ticket for over 50,000 German and American visitors and military personnel. The plane shown as the background image is the C-47 Skytrain, the aircraft that started the Airlift in June of 1948. The red, white, and blue color scheme was used to signify the role of the United States in the operation. The color gold was used to signify the victorious outcome of the Allied efforts.
